14 February, 2010

Sometimes, with all the twitter, and RSS, and blogs, and books, and observations, and media, and feeds, and subscriptions and conversations I ocassionaly am struck by a deep, yawing, eye-squinting, cheek-raising “i don’t care”… and then I look at one of those tweets or feeds and I remember why I do.

Check out the video about Edward Leida’s thought process for W spreads (via Fast Company). I love the power of a typeface and its arrangement to evoke an image on its own.

and this from the SPD magazine finalists for 2009 (via Fast Company) Those quarry photos!
